  • In the aims at networking and seeking out a job it is understood that:

  • Definitions:

  • Registered Users “A” : Will be referred to in this document as the Job Seekers/Student users.

  •  

  • Registered Users “B” : Will be referred to in this document as the Corporation/HR users.

  •  

  • Registered Users: Will be referred to in this document as Registered Users “A” and “B”.

  •  

  • HRing : Will be referred to in this document as HRing Ltd.

  •  

  • Key Values : HRing is a platform for people to present themselves in a professional and respectful manner to obtain meaningful employment.

  •  

  • Content: Any pictures/video and audio that Registered Users upload to HRing’s hiring platform on IOS/Android and PWA.

  •  

  • Registered Users by accepting the terms and conditions below agree to the following:

  • Candidates/Students

  • Registered Users “A” accept HRing is tool in the middle of the hiring process to further display their employability through videos/pictures/text to state a case for their employability and in doing so HRing will not be found in violation of any human rights violations for discrimination of race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, status as a parent,  disability, religion, citizenship, place of origin, ethnic origin, colour, ancestry, gender identity, gender expression, receipt of public assistance (in housing) and record of offences (in employment).The final decision to offer employment is made by the hiring Registered User(B) and it is their responsibility to act within the Employment Acts and Human Right Regulations of their registered address. The decision to hire or not hire a Candidate/Student will be made by the Registered User(B) seeking to hire. HRing aims at creating equal opportunity and if a Registered User (A) believes that a Corporation is acting in a discriminatory fashion they are urged to report such action to the Corporations HR department but holds HRing not responsible for the actions of its Registered Users(B). HRing acts as a tool in the hiring process which has multiple steps, checks and balances to ensure the Candidate meets all requirements of the job which needs to be filled but HRing makes no decision in determining what the requirements for each job posting are. HRing will be held harmless if legal action is to be taken against a Registered User(B) due to their actions on the HRing app. If there is a required level of experience, education, certification or training for a particular job posting HRing registered users accept that they will not be included in such job searches on HRing if they do not meet the requirements and understand this is not a violation of their human rights as it is a bonafide requirement of the job(Ex. If it is required to have a CPA to apply as an Accountant applicants who do not have a CPA will not appear in such search.) Registered Users accept that HRing is a platform that provides them with an opportunity to showcase their employability but HRing is not the decision making entity that decides if Registered User(A) obtains employment or not from their use of the HRing.

  • Corporations/HR

  • Registered Users(B) using HRing as a tool to further vet their candidates understands they have a legal responsibility and agree to act within the Employment Acts and Human Right Regulations of their registered address. Registered Users “B” agrees to choose candidates without holding prejudice in regards to age, race, gender, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, status as a parent, criminal records, disability, relgion, particular groups,  and will only not select a Registered User “A” for a job if they do not meet the bonafide requirements of the job.

  • Content/Data

  • Registered Users(A)(B)  willingly give access to camera and microphone to HRing so that HRing can create and store video/audio and picture content that will be used as an aid in providing a virtual connection between Registered Users. HRing will only use the data which is collected from Registered Users to provide Registered Users with opportunities of employment and monetary discounts on goods and services which will be marketed on the app. Registered Users’s Microphone and Camera will not be accessed by HRing at any time unless you have the app running. If there is a data breach HRing will act in accordance with the PIPEDA and notify all users immediately should there be a breach discovered.

  • Violations:

  • HRing reserves the rights to remove Registered Users content from the app which is deemed as an infringement of HRing’s goal to create an open, respectful, safe and professional virtual environment for Registered Users to interact. HRing is to be used as a professional attempt at seeking employment and uploading content which is a matter of personal opinion, politics, discrimination or any other agenda that is not aimed at the the Registered User selling their skills which makes them employable will have their uploaded content removed. An email warning will be sent out to the Registered User explaining the intended usage of the app and notice that the content they uploaded has been removed. If a second violation is made the Registered Users account will be removed from searches and suspended for 15 days. In order for users to get their account unlocked they will have to have to read over the intended uses of the app and results for multiple infractions of the intended uses via a “check box’ acceptance that they have read and understand the intended uses and results of multiple violations of those uses. Upon a third violation the Registered Users account will be removed from any searches and suspended for 30 days. On a 4th violation an email notice will be sent to the Registered User letting them know they will be locked out of their account for 6 months. Each additional violation from there on out will carry an added month lock out of the Registered Users account.

  • Registered Users(B) who are flagged for asking questions in the Custom Interview which are viewed by Registered Users(A) as being discriminatory will be sen




  •  

  • Arbitration:  Registered Users who have a complaint against HRing agree to make a reasonable attempt at settling out of the court system through an Arbitrator which will be from Alberta, Canada before any matters are brought to the courts. Any legal action which is furthered if no agreement can be made in Arbitration will be held in the Jurisdiction of HRing which is Alberta, Canada.

  •  

  • Indemnity: Registered Users who wish to push forward a complaint against HRing in either Arbitration or the Court System will pay for the cost of the Arbitration and HRing’s legal representation.

  •  

  • Limits of Liability: A Registered User as part of accepting this agreement will only be able to hold HRing responsible for any costs which the Registered Users accumulates from making purchases on the app. HRing will not be brought into any Arbitration or Legal Action to recoup any costs which are accumulated while being unemployed and in the job search or be responsible for any costs which are associated with hiring/training/firing a candidate that does not work out/misrepresents themselves.

  • Disclaimer: It is the responsibility of the Registered Users to represent themselves true and accurate in the skills/courses/education/experience and certifications that they currently have active as they may be requirements of a job. Registered Users (B) hold the right to decline employment to any Registered Users(A) should they not meet the requirements of the job posted.  HRing is a professional platform which aims at creating professional connections and is not intended as a social media service to broadcast personal opinions/religious beliefs/politics beliefs and stances on social issues. If the Key Value of HRing as defined in the Definitions section are not adhered to by Registered Users HRing reserves the right to remove content from searches, suspend and terminate accounts/content permanently. HRing will not filter candidates by race, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, status as a parent,  disability, religion, place of origin, ethnic origin, colour, ancestry, gender identity, gender expression, receipt of public assistance (in housing) and aims at creating open opportunity.

  • HRing will use a third party “Stripe” to handle any payment processing and HRing will not store any credit card information/banking information on our servers. HRing will not be responsible or held liable if Stripe was to have a data breach. Registered Users agree to make no attempts at reverse engineering the app for the creation of code that will make a product that is similar to the HRing app. Registered Users accept that HRing’s business model and the application of video to join users via a 30 Second Elevator Pitch, Custom Interview and the creation of an online Profile Resume and Video Reference is the intellectual property of the HRing. HRing does not guarantee you will obtain employment from using the HRing.

  • HRing is a platform that aims at creating a tool that will aid Registered Users  in the process of seeking a job/hiring. If Registered Users are creating content and putting out information that is viewed as discimrination as per the legislation set out as per their registered address them will be first be issued a warning via written notice delivered to the email that was used to register the account and have that particular content and any other content which they have created which can be found in a similar violation removed from HRing. On a second written notice the Registered User will be banned from HRing for 2 weeks. On a third written notice the Registered Users account will be deleted.

  •  

  • Registered Users must create a professional online profile which is aimed at advancing their careers. If a Registered User has their 30 second elevator pitch flagged as being content which is not aimed at the “professional attempt of obtaining employment” they will have their video reviewed by HRing at which point it may be removed and the Registered Users Account may be locked. Registered Users who have their 30 Second Elevator pitch removed will be offered the opportunity to attend a “Get Back Into the Workforce” training course. Upon completion of this course a Registered User will gain access back to their account and have the opportunity to record a new 30 Second Elevator Pitch. If a Registered User declines to take part in the “Get Back Into the Workforce” training course their account will be deleted.
